Hello! Thank you for visiting us!
We have recently started a new chapter of our lives together and we are excited to share it with you all. We can learn together, and even laugh and cry together at the beautiful chaos of raising twins and triplets all under the age of 3! Here’s how it all started:
After we got married in 2012, we knew we wanted to start a family right away. Little did we know we had quite a few road bumps between us and the family we longed for so desperately. After years of praying, impatiently waiting, countless doctors appointments, oceans of tears, and medications, we FINALLY saw that beautiful positive test (on our anniversary of all days). A few weeks later, we were thrilled to find out that I was carrying fraternal twins. We could not have felt more blessed.
A few years later, we decided that the twins were at the perfect age for a sibling. Adding 1 more was going to complete our little family. Knowing the doctors and medications that worked for us previously, we luckily were able to take the guess work out of the heart wrenching process of infertility. We decided to do the lowest dosage of the injection hormone medication and see what would happen. A few weeks later, we got the phone call that it had worked! I knew instantly that somehow this pregnancy was going to be different. At our seven week sonogram the technician says “Well you definitely have one!” We were thrilled… and then she kept going…”and there’s another one…and ANOTHER!” Triplets?! Yes, triplets. And so our new journey begins. In just a few days we will officially have a “full house”-with 2 of a kind and 3 of a kind- when our triplets are born.
Mom’s reaction (HA!)
We know we have a LOT of learning and growing to do as we learn navigate our new roles and challenges: 1) Being the best parents we can be to 5 children under the age of 3, 2) Keeping a strong and healthy marriage in the midst of 5 children, 3) Transitioning from a working full-time as a teacher out of the house to working full-time as mom inside the house.
We are so glad to have you join us on this crazy ride!
